I am here to bring you a DETAILED walkthrough on what to do to get each character grovelling at your feet...PFFT! I wish! Anyway, just a quick note before I begin;
Note: Writing in red means that it is an actual quote, from what I can translate. Forgive me for not knowing more.

So, we start off at Cross Academy, the illustrious private school that...yeah...you get the idea. If you haven't read the manga or watched the anime, then you're pretty much screwed before you start really, aren't you? Anyway, there isn't anything you need to do for this part, except for listen to the voices...of the boys when they turn up. The first thing about this game that frustrated me was the fact that I HAD NO VOICE. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GRASP THE CONCEPT OF THIS DS GAME WITHOUT A FREAKING VOICE!?! It's bad enough that my Japanese is crap, let alone the fact you dash my hopes of understanding this game at all by making my own voice NON-EXISTANT.
WHAT THE HELL AM I SAYING?! BLASPHEMY! GAH!
Anyway, I guess what my mute character is trying to say is basically what Yuki says in the manga or anime about the Day Class and Night Class...oh yeah; just a side-note; you play as Yuki in the game. You'll see later on when the CG's start. So basically, if you can't read this part, it's no problem, because you don't need to. Just plod your way through this long opening sequence until...
KYAH! Night Class Bishies! MINE! *nomnomnom and spits out Kaname*
Now this is when the voices start up, so you might not wanna rush this part. I personally play to listen to the voices as well ( I wanna be a voice actress, so I believe it's my duty to listen to other people work ^^), so I slowed down a bit to take in and attempt to understand what they are trying to say. Of course, with my concentration on the sexiness and not on the fangirls, it was inevitable that they were going to strike...so I guess I fell over? Darn...darn me and my utter stupidness...
Now, obviously I'm complaining a little about this, but who comes to my rescue?
Kaname: Are you okay?
Me: No. You're here.
Now, a lot of conversation ensues here, and I hate to say it, but I didn't catch a word, but, like I've said before, this scene is pretty much the same as in the anime and manga, so I don't really need to know. Kaname talks and is worried, I guess, I'm not too bothered (apparently I'm meant to adore this man...PFFT-) until this happens...
Me: OH GOD NO! TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT! GET AWAY! GET AWAY!
While I'm freaking out and Kaname fails at flirting, guess who comes to my rescue?
Zero: Your class has already begun, Kuran-sempai...
That's right! My 'Vampire Knight' in shining armour ha PUN! with eyes of lavender! You guessed it ladies; it's everyone's favourite angsty boy, Zero Kiryu! *cue fansquee*
*ahem* Getting back to the point, everything is pretty much the same here as well; I'd slow down a little to just take in the awesome-ness and sexiness of Zero and his voice...Ahh~
And now, let's introduce the rest of the cast! Minus the girls of the Night Class. But their not important anyway, so...
Introducing everyone's favourite model for the :) emoticon, it's Takuma Ichijo!
Next up we have Kaname's fanboy and sex slave, Hanabusa Aido! *gets bricked*
And next is the strangely perverted in the game, Akatsuki Kain!
And last, but certainly not least, I give you, Senri Shiki!
*could not think of anything witty to put here. Let's face it. The guy has less lines than a Level-E...*
Now, after all of these lovely contestants have been introduced to the audience (that's you, if you hadn't guessed!), Zero basically tells them to go to class. Hanabusa says something that is probably offending Zero, Akatsuki (surprisingly) encourages him, and Kaname reprimands them. They all move on, and then it's a scene change!
So, our scene change brings us to night-time in the school grounds. Zero will say a few words, but I didn't catch most of it, since I was too busy staring at his hotness.
Me: KYAH! LOVE ME, YOU SEXY BEAST YOU!
Zero: *points Bloody Rose at me* Go. Away. Baka.
Me: D:
And then, after our little conversation, we find ourselves in the Headmaster's Office. This is a loooong scene, so you can skip this part if you want to. After a while, I decided to skip because I had NO idea of what they were saying, and the scene just dragged on for too long. I can sum it up with one screen-shot. Here:
Zero: *angst*
Headmaster: *gay*
Me: *:D*
We good? Yeah, we're good. So anyway, after this scene, we find ourselves back outside. Zero talks some more, and then runs off, I guess? *shrugs* Meh; we'll never know...anyway, once he leaves, you get two boxes that pop up. To see Zero, choose the first box. I'm not really sure on what the other box is, but to go on the safe side, choose the first box. Now, you end up in a new area! This is the part that always gets me; the navigation. I had to use a map that I found on the Internet to navigate my way around, but you can just go with the flow and wing it. Here's the map if you want it, though:
Since we've moved around a little since the dialogue, you are currently in Area 5. You need to be back where you started, at Area 8. So, two lefts, and a down to reach your destination. After you've reached the area, you'll encounter another piece of dialogue, during which, you seem to fall off of the roof of the school...like I said earlier; darn me and my stupidness.
And this part, folks, is one of the first memorable moments of the Vampire Knight DS game. That's right; Zero's first time hurrhurr calling you a 'baka'. Expect this a lot in future chapters, but for now, just melt into a puddle of fangirl goo...that's right.
After a little bit of dialogue which I didn't catch, Zero finally comes out of his hiding place (? I really don't know; he's not on-screen and yet he's talking...?)
I think he's angry at me...oops...
As the dialogue between you and Zero progresses, you'll notice that he moves...he's like a ninja... *insert Naruto pun here*
Closer...
And closer... (it's not me zooming in on his face, by the way; he generally does get closer XD)
I was gonna attempt to kiss him (like the weird chic I am) just like the rest of us otaku's XD but two Day Class girls had to come and ruin our doki doki moment by being injured...darn them. Anyway, after a little more dialogue, two boxes will pop up again. These boxes will determine who you encounter next. Those who are familiar with the anime and manga know what comes next; so if you wanna stick to the storyline, the go for the top box. If you wanna go for something a bit different, then the second box is for you. Anyway, because I like to stick with the story, I went for the top box. This brought to a new area, and then...
You guessed it! Looks like Aido smelt the blood and came to investigate. Akatsuki follows soon after, and the two confront you. If you chose the second box, Takuma will replace Aido, and Shiki will be in the place of Akatsuki, but the story is pretty much the same. Now, a lot of dialogue ensues, which is basically Aido attempting to molest me for the most part. While this is happening, the two Day Class girls are freaking out (they have probably fainted by now...probably...I think...o_0) and Akatsuki is...actually, I don't know what Akatsuki is doing. I don't think he even speaks until-
Zero comes to my rescue once again! With the Bloody Rose as well! Looks like he's not about to let his fellow Guardian and future wife hurrhurr get hurt! Aido sounds mocking in this part, so maybe he's teasing Zero, and Akatsuki says something to set him off. But I guess, by the sound effect that was made, Akatsuki got thrown on the floor.
He looks annoyed ^^; Anyway; a bit more dialogue mainly between me, Zero and Aido, and then...A GUN SHOT! Looks like Zero has had enough of Aido's teasing!
Aido: A-Ah! That scared me~!
(I think this is what is roughly translates into)
To be honest, I'm not sure whether he was joking or was generally serious about being scared. He sounded it, but the little '~' at the end makes me think otherwise. Anyway, in the aftermath of this dramatic scene, guess who decides to show up?
Me: Well look who decided to show up?!
Kaname: Better late than never!
Me: :@
This part pretty much explains itself; Kaname reprimands the two vamps. He starts with Akatsuki, who looks...surprised, if I'm honest. He has a look that kind of says, "why me?!" written all over it.
And then the good part comes...reprimanding Aido >:)
Aido practically asks to be reprimanded, doesn't he? Talking back to a pureblood ^^;
This part made me laugh; despite how much I dislike Kaname, I have to admit he is probably one of the best pimp-slappers alive...meh; he's had 10,000 years to practise!
Aido: Ah...Ouch...but...this is...a love slap!
(I'm pretty sure this is the translation, and I'm also pretty sure that it wasn't a love slap, Aido ^^;)
Anyway, there's more dialogue (you may have already noticed by now, but there is A LOT of dialogue in this game) and Kaname erases the memories of the Day Class girls, and then he and the rest of the Night Class leaves. Which leaves me. Alone. With Zero.
VICTORY!~ *Final Fantasy VII victory tune plays*
Now, here is where the romantic music starts, and Zero asks if I'm alright. He's says something I can't make out, and calls me a baka once again ^^;
Anyway, because I'm also injured (guess that happened when I fell off the roof ^^;) Zero uses his tie to bandage up the wound. How sweet~ A bit more dialogue, and then three boxes pop up. I don't think it really matters what one you pick, but I went with the middle one, because it looked emotional (the ... ...) and the fact it had his name in it. (look out for this symbol; you'll need to learn it to get through the story easier) Anyway, a little bit of dialogue, in which I thank Zero for saving me, to which he replies with-
